We understand how quality of life for the entire family suffers when one person has cancer, especially a child.
At Rett’s Roost, we hope to create a peaceful, joyful, empathetic space for families to relax and heal themselves after months or years of hospital visits. We focus on mindful, positive living through healthy bodies, strong communities, and spiritual openness (whatever that may be for you). We also specialize in making it all flexible and fun!
Our retreats offer a free, intimate weekend getaway for families touched by childhood cancer.
Our ‘Open to Healing’ bereavement retreats are for families that have lost their child to cancer, like us. We share strategies for grieving, while at the same time being sensitive to the fact that everyone’s process is different–and thus we are open to receiving during this weekend as well.
We also have ‘Positively Healing’ retreats for families that have a surviving child with no evidence of or stable disease. These retreats are always a huge hit–full of happiness, relaxation, and deep connections.
Please contact us if you are interested in attending or know someone that is. Or complete our application, which can downloaded on any of the retreat event pages (links below).
